This is Paul's kick-ass version of the title. The idea was that at start-up, the Flashbang logo would blast in, scaring the guy who screams in terror, and then the title would fade in. Paul did a great job making this! In retrospect, I'm not sure why we didn't just make this title, or how Snazzy became the title music. I feel bad when for whatever reason songs don't make it in. It was rough times, back then the expected filesize was 20 meg, and even in .ogg format music would happily suck up half of that if allowed. (It wasn't allowed to be that much, my the mean Project Manager, Matthew.) Nowadays so many people have broadband I'm thinking the expected size for casual games could be 200 megs or more.
Hmm, what can I tell you about Paul's excellent ways here? He's got the organ samples, lots of really slickly-entered strings, his own percussion section that includes some spoons, a washboard, and some milk kegs. Paul's motto and demand for quality is that he wants to make it sound like he as a real orchestra, using samples. I think he succeeds at this.
